Anti Fed Ed Warriors, sometime last week, I shared with you an article based off a magazine ad I’d seen. If you missed it, is was all about the purposed shift to ‘re-invent’ our high schools. While the ‘re-invention’ effort isn’t new, the upcoming TV special will be. Find out all about it, here.
Warriors, I didn’t mention it, but around that same time, I stumbled upon another ad. It was also, full page. Below, you’ll see what I saw:
First, The Backing Corportation, Unilever:
In the ad above, you won’t see the CCSS Machine, but our first clue is “Unilever”. Unilever Corporation has backed globalism for quite a while. (See this 2012 proof about their global foundation and how UNICEF played a key role; then this 2017 article about Unilever’s CEO.)
**We need to stop right here and note that Unilever Corporation is not originally a USA based corporation, although it does have a branch in the USA (Unilever USA).
Clues for Unilever and Common Core:
Back in 2014, a press release for Unilever’s ice cream and treats brands revealed partnering with a local community college for dual enrollment certifications. You’ll need to read the Press Release, especially for the ‘global workforce’ statement near the end of it.
A bit further back (2010), The National Parks Foundation teamed with Unilever USA for school programs.
While neither of the above resources scream “Common Core alignment”, it’s there in plain sight. Dual enrollments are part of the CCSS Machine’s ‘cradle to grave’ education supply chain. The National Parks is a part of the US federal government. All Cabinet level agencies have sold out to the CCSS Machine alignment, up to and including CTE (Career Tech Education) and STEM.
You can find the NPS Common Core Teaching Link here. (look to the bottom left corner)
If you’d like to see the TN Government resource for the Career Tech Ed dual enrollments which tie to the WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) as well as the U.S. Dept. of Education, look here.
From Unilever’s 2016-17 Employee Incentive Handbook, this screen shot of page 22:
(*Note if you cannot see the highlighted box, it shows how employees can receive tutoring for their children in the SAT, ACT, and Common Core subjects.) Here is the Source
Because ESSA codified STEM, CTE, and, CCSS (mainly through assessments and career tracking). Especially when you factor in that ESSA’s language INCREASES the public/private partnerships! This means corporations like Unilever will have more overreaching power into classrooms for every school choice.
Unilever’s UN Ties:
The Unilever Group’s undying support of the UN’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) isn’t new. Being a global company means having global workforce on your radar. Global workforce means global education.
Warriors, in case you missed it, how to connect Common Core (including all its re-brand names, like ‘college and career readiness’ or ‘challenging state academic standards’ as laid out in ESSA, Every Student Succeeds Act) to the UN. Source
We also know the UN’s ‘pet’ educational deceptive initiative, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) comes into play with the Unilever Corporation, SDGs, and Common Core. (if you’ve missed my many articles connecting CCSS and STEM, you can find the entire collection by following this link. Search all you need to.)
Below, you’ll see a screen shot from a 2012 Business Roundtable global meeting. Where Unilever’s presence was found at the meeting. Look at the document on the left, then look to the right for the connections from businesses to the UN:

If you are interested, Unilever’s 2010 Annual Report spells out in at least 3 different places their acknowledgement of skilled workforce and a pipeline effect. (see pages 11, 18, and 37)
Secondly, the WE Group:
Warriors, also in the ad was the effort Unilever is backing, the “We School Program”. Actually, the School is only a portion of the entire effort. There’s and entire WE website full of collective-good for the community-social justice, and more. To see the entire layout, go here.
Does this rhetoric sound a bit familar? It is an excerpt from the “We School” page,
“WE Schools is reigniting the fundamental purpose of education: moving students to want to learn, preparing them with the life skills to better the world and empowering them to forge their own paths to success.”
How will the reigniting effort play out? Again, their words, “global community empowering themselves (students and their families) and others to create local and global change through service-based learning.” Source
Warriors, have I not shown you, as have other anti Fed Ed Warriors, about the entrapment of the entire family for the sake of the student’s ‘success’?! (*Note, families ensnared via ESSA and early childhood education; families, entire communities, and our neighborhoods ensnared via ESSA, KnowledgeWorks, and 21st Century Community Learning Centers; where you can look in your State for TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) and related funding programs where the alignment is embedded; lastly, the intrusive family-wide data mining aspects of ESSA.)
Other Partners for WE beside Unilever are College Board (gee, no CCSS alignment there, huh?), Tribes Learning Community (where you’ll find a ton of SEL, Social Emotional Learning), and National Youth Leadership Council (devoted to transforming education). Are there other organizations besides these? Yes, the reoccuring CCSS Machine/UN SDG tie? Collectivism!
Now, Warriors, please, please, please do NOT assume I am anti ‘love thy neighbor’. Hardly. Those who know me well know I’d give you the shirt off my back if you needed it. My sharing is not a mandate, it is a choice I made based on my beliefs, not a group’s.
Collectivism is the complete opposite of this mindset. Collectivism is all about the WE and putting down the ME! Combine this with the CCSS Machine/UN model and you get a toxic dose of conformity, alignment, and self-loathing.
Below, is a screen shot of how the WE.org folks use their donations. Look at the biggest givers. Notice that the government is included in how WE uses funds. Yes, it’s only 3%, but if you calculate it, it adds up. Lobbying in DC, or, other nation’s capitals is big business. WE.org has ‘plants’ in Canada, possibly other locations. (*Note: Look for the second testimonial.)

If you’d like to see the global citizens We is grooming in classrooms across the globe, watch this short video from their website:
A key point which needs to be made here. The collectivism approach so harped on by Unilever, the WE group, and others in the CCSS Machine’s grasp has been passed off as ‘values education’. What the heck is THAT? Quite simply is it passing on a set of one’s beliefs, values, and attitudes to others. “Values” are embedded in the SEL portions of ‘education’, behavior management, and other areas.
Evidence Which Speaks To The Dangers Of “Collectivism”:
Warriors, if you missed the Choice Media 2016 article I am including it here. You should hear the information about Common Core and collectivism.
How can this be traced to UNESCO or the UN? Look below:
Warriors, access the source right here. (*Note: Page 9 gives you a cube view of all the factors used in ‘comparative education’.) In the beginning pages of this source, the USA is included.
If you’d like the full Research Paper, find that here. Below is a ‘nugget’ of information which may be helpful in peeling apart the push for ‘collectivism’ in education. (*Note: other pages: 206, 216, 294, 303’s degree of ‘aggresion/consideration’ or ‘how in charge of my future do I feel?’, and 400.)
Here is the #10 Source cited above. Added emphasis is mine. This, too, may be a clue to why the CCSS Machine is pushing the ‘collectivism’ buttons.
Closing:
Warriors, I hope you’ve seen enough evidence as to WHY the global push from some ‘do good’ groups is a fine line between compassion for our fellow humans and control of them.
