Anti Fed Ed Warriors, just when you think the COVID education (aka: educratic) funding streams are about to run dry, enter the new U.S. Dept. of Education Secretary, Dr. Cardona.
Cardona’s wasting no time carrying out the Biden/Harris Administration’s 100 Days of Action..at least in education. On March 17th, a press release detailed the ‘rescue plan’ for reopening schools. The price tag? Try $122 billion!
What are the $122 billion of taxpayer’s money being wasted on? Here’s an excerpt from the press release:
“Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona delivered the news directly to state education commissioners in a letter issued today and said the Department will begin to make these funds available to state educational agencies (SEAs) this month. The announcement coincides with the Department of Health and Human Services’ announcement that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will provide $10 billion to states to support COVID-19 screening testing for K-12 teachers, staff, and students in schools, and marks swift action by the Biden-Harris Administration to meet the President’s goal of safely reopening the majority of K-8 schools within the first 100 days of his administration.”
So where did the $122 billion come in? That was included in the January 2021 Executive Action by President Biden. The entire price tag for the American Rescue Plan (ARP) is $1.9 trillion! From the website, this excerpt, “Mount a national vaccination program, contain COVID-19, and safely reopen schools, including by setting up community vaccination sites nationwide, scaling up testing and tracing, eliminating supply shortage problems, investing in high-quality treatments, providing paid sick leave to contain spread of the virus, addressing health disparities, and making the necessary investments to meet the president’s goal of safely reopening a majority of K-8 schools in the first 100 days.“

Warriors, hitting us from the post-secondary (higher education) and family needs aspect is this press release detailed EXPANDED benefits to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Student Debt Relief. SNAP benefits have been in the CCSS Machine’s educratic overreach since ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act). The point? Relief (aka: more government overreach) in the name of COVID.
The ARP’s Like FDR’s New Deal:
Warriors, if you haven’t noticed, just before COVID took over, and since it’s residence among us, both political parties have thrown tons of money at the problems associated with it. No matter if it’s food, jobs, education, or, healthcare: the government’s got a program or paycheck to hand you for it.
However, the cost is YOUR FREEDOM, not relief from ANY problem associated with COVID. FDR’s New Deal also had programs for almost every aspect of our lives. Did we, as a nation, become more independent? NO! The government, in education, ESPECIALLY at the direction of the CCSS Machine has us more dependent on them than ever, when we accept the status quo.
This ARP, especially for education, is doing nothing but streamlining entire communities AND families into the government nanny state system.
RESIST! It’s NOT freedom of choice in how Johnny and Suzy are taught! It’s giving the government the power to supercede in your lives.
