Anti Fed Ed Warriors, no, I’ve not had my senses ‘fly the coop’. But you may have ‘ruffled feathers’ by the end of this article. We know the CCSS Machine is a ‘rotten egg’ when it comes to education. We’ve seen that rottenness spill into our communities, even to the point of our churches. We’ve spent years weeding out the educational or educratic groups on board with this shift.
Many of us, as Christians, are hard pressed to continue to find businesses, services, consultants, etc. who value freedom, liberty, our Constitution, God, or, education WITHOUT some form of Common Core lurking. We’ve heard for years that Christian schools have escaped the CCSS Machine or that parochial schools were the way to escape the awfulness of all that is connected to the CCSS Machine. We’ve even been urged to use homeschooling as an escape route.
However, Warriors, every one of these moves has been proven to not solve the problem of the CCSS Machine’s overreaching agenda..these moves have simply delayed it in some form. If you’ve read any of my recent published articles, you’ll know we have much work to do to right this wrong. We must purpose the stop ‘going with the flow’. We must be 100 times stronger than ever.
So, where’s the chicken? What agenda? Let’s find out in the rest of this article.
Enter, The Chicken:
Warriors, where is one place that many places love to go to eat where wholesomeness is served in great portions? Hint: they serve chicken and are closed every Sunday so you can go to worship and be with the family. While I’m not picking on Chick-Fil-A, I do have proof they’ve hopped on the CCSS Machine’s bandwagon. In fact, the company’s been there a while.
How? SEL, social emotional learning. Look below:
Enter, Core Essentials (CE):
Warriors, when a follower from KS first contacted me about CE (Core Essentials), it was to express concern over the SEL content. What was also troubling, was what looked to be simply a partnership between CE and Chick-Fil-A (CFA).
Now, I must share with you that finding out CFA is actually the sponsor took a lot of digging. If you look at the CE website, there is no ‘about us’ page, no mention of company officers, board members, etc. At least not on main pages, like we see on most websites. No, the fact that I could even find CE has board members, etc. was to read their “Terms of Use” page. Every where else on the website was a sense of a vague ‘who are these people?’ Not what you expect CFA to be a part of.
Below, is the screen shot from the CE’s Terms of Use. Note the underlined sentences point to many people, yet I could only identify one.
To see GuideStar’s information, go here. To see the Reggie Joiner tie to ReThink, you have to find his brief bio on the Parent Cue website. What does Parent Cue do? The website exists to help prompt parents to be better leaders. Investigate the website, look at the phone app which is available, you can sync your parenting with your church and more. (*Note, when I looked at Parent Cue’s store and typed in Bible, I got Bible studies, but no actual complete Bibles. Why is this an issue for character education? Taking the Bible out of ‘character’ is like taking fact based arithmetic out of math.)
To visit the reThink group’s website, go here. When I searched for Bibles on their website, the results was ZERO, yet curriculum galore could be found. If we’re teaching children about Jesus, character, etc. and leave out the very foundation, how can we say we are teaching them everything? Why do I bring this ‘bird of a feather’ up, if you look at the CE resources, often used in Chick-Fil-A’s kids meals, the concept of a Bible based character trait is there, BUT any Scripture reference, any direct mention of God is GONE. The Amazon review of “Think Orange” even alludes to the ‘next generation’ type of church goer.
Warriors, I can understand why, CE is not only in churches, but in school districts. It’s used in community outreach programs, too. Because it’s aligned to CCSS, this means CE is just one more way to align your community to agenda filled traits which are NOT character building so much as grooming the type of do good citizen the United Nations is depending on with all their other agenda filled education.
Why would a church use the same resource as a school district?! Here’s a video which you’ll find interesting. Listen to the parent’s ‘confession’. Listen to the teacher say character is a ‘life skill’. Listen to the corporate representative and a franchise owner in why they support this. Then consider the UN shift from academics to workforce prep. A huge component of the preparation is SEL (mind control) and character (social justice).

2) ESSA’s community wide assessments for college/career readiness mean if the entire community isn’t aligned to the CCSS Machine (and UN related ties), funding for your community is at risk. (In the 391 page ESSA (law version), Community ‘Support’ is included in the National Activities section, subsections 4621-25. Remember, according to ESSA, ‘community’ means your town, any groups wishing to connect to education in ANY way, town leaders, partners, and engage the entire community.
3) The CCSS Machine (especially via STEM, Science/Technology/Engineering/Math) has taken over churches, and other community groups.
4) School Counselor Initiative begun by a former First Lady are still in place. As such, these counselors are being used as ‘salesmen and saleswomen’ for the CCSS Machine.

Warriors, in my next article, we’ll look at how the UN’s mental health overreach is being used for ‘happiness’ programs across the nation. We’ll also look at another group by the name of ‘reThink’ which uses SEL for all ages for economic gains. As we know the UN is manipulating America’s economy and students (of all ages) are learning that they must be a part of the greater good for a global economy. It’s supposedly the ‘golden egg’.
We also know, know the UN is out for a one-world religion, so it makes total sense to see Christianity attacked, but I bet you’re like me, you never expected it from a Christian-based business. Talk about a ‘dumb cluck’ move.
