“What a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive.” How many of us remember learning this as a child? Common Core Standards, the CCSS Machine, and those running it attempt to deceive us every single day the illegally based Standards are allowed to exist.
It’s ‘Back to School’ season. That means parents shopping, which means money is being spent. It means corporations (ESPECIALLY those embedded in the CCSS Machine) are dangling new resources, products, and technology in front of everyone from the school staff to the state levels of education decision making.
It means the CCSS Machine is pumping out big volumes of ‘white paper research’ to back up WHY CCSS/CTE (Career and Technical Education), CCR (College and Career Readiness) is a ‘must have’. (Don’t forget with each of the above, you have STEM, STEM to STEaM, Next Generation Science Standards, the C3 (CCSS aligned Social Studies), and so much more that’s egregious!
No matter how many ‘back to school’ seasons we get where CCSS is being rammed down our throats, the pattern’s the same. Hype up the Common Core and all its related crud and you’ve got ‘credible’, ‘new’ research to support it. BULL! As I’ve shared with you before in my ‘subjective’ vs ‘objective’ anti CCSS article, you CAN’T call research or studies conducted by the SAME folks corrupting education AND use them as your ‘evidence’ as to HOW CCSS is a proven success. IT’S called CONFLICT of INTEREST!
Those Pillars:
In the picture I provided above, I stated in the caption that ‘no CCSS Resource has all 7 pillars of traditional education.’ My fellow Warriors, CCSS by its very existence has NONE of the 7! The 7 pillars you see above: ethics, humility, instruction, discipline, knowledge, integrity, and, honesty are attributes. Together, they make up true wisdom. What’s an attribute? In its noun form, ‘attribute’ is a quality regarded as a part of yourself that’s inherent. In other words, it is deeply rooted in your character. Character, as we know, takes YEARS to develop. It takes real life experiences. No computer device or program can teach attributes in their true sense. Yet, during “Back to School” season, the CCSS Machine will promote….

One of my avid followers tipped me off the what I’m about to share with you. I thank her tremendously. This picture comes from an article targeting teachers for the upcoming school year. It’s promoting how to make the most out of those new tablets, laptops, and, other technology devices your students will be using this year. Note what’s in the center of the picture: “Graduate Attributes and Capabilities”
Just what else is stated in the middle of this circle? “Good communicator; energy, passion and enthusiasm; true to value and ethics; understands strengths and limitations; listens and learns from errors and experiences; empathizing; time management skills; remains calm; thinks strategically; transparent and honest; gives credit; persevering.”
The symbols you see? Oh, those are all the computer based programs which are to being used to ‘teach’ attributes!

You’ll definitely want to see all the others words littered throughout the circle. You’ll be able to recognize some of the more well known pro CCSS corporate logos. Ones like Facebook and Google, but, oh my..there are TONS more right in front of you! Be sure to read the comments. They are all from foreign countries expressing how great learning like this is!
For example, the article features “Dragon Dictation”. I featured the “Dragon Voice Recognition” as CCSS aligned back in December 2014. The difference here is the first one is an application to download on that new tablet, laptop, or whatever device students bring to class. The second one is an entire software program for home use. Then, there’s one application for ‘mind mapping’ capabilities. Yes, the teacher is encouraged to use this to stimulate brainstorms in his/her students. It’s called “Simple Mind +” The company behind this one is a privately owned Dutch company! Their speciality? The Mind Push:
With all this alignment via technology style, we already know tremendous amounts of money are being not only poured into creating the tools, but in selling them, too! While you may know some of the groups involved, here’s one you may not recognize. “MIND Research Institute”. Website: http://www.mindresearch.org/
According to their current statistics, 800,000 students and 31,000 teachers are exposed to this math program called ST Math (Spatial-Temporal Math). See: http://www.mindresearch.org/stmath/
K-6th grade ST Math? ” It is closely aligned to state and Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and integrates with core instruction.”
Middle School and High School ST Math doesn’t use the same wording, but it does use ‘remediation’ and ‘intervention’ as well as pointing back to the K-6th program.
On the “About Us” page, leading counsel at the Mind Research Institute are at least 2 public education officers and one elected politician. You can also see pro CCSS supportive groups represented like Bank of America and State Farm. Want to dehumanize character via CCSS, easy..just use a computer to teach everything.
I taught school in the early ’80’s n met Charlotte Iserbyte who was with the Dept of Ed under Reagan. She found out what was in store then do our schools. I gathered all kinds of documents n information from her n others. She encouraged me to meet with my fellow teachers n that I did. It then that computers were introduced to the schools in all grades. In fact it was known then that this brainwashing would later be done by computers so no one would know what was being taught. I respectfully ask that you give parents exempted of how they go about changing the values, beliefs and feeling of students. This would help everyone to recognize their tactics. Goal is to create a “cookie cutter citizen who will pledge allegiance to a world government. Individual thinking will be replaced by group consensus–just like they did in Germany years ago. I could go on and on but hope you will consider bring examples to parents so they may recognize what is being taught to their children.
